1. Trou aux Cerfs
Mauritius is born thanks to an intense volcanic formation. It is believed that the Trou aux Cerfs erupted once and has remained dormant for the last 2 million years; experts believe that there is a possible chance for it to become active again for the next thousands years.
2. Grand Bassin
Also known as a scared lake. You are welcomed by two big statues of 33m in height and have almost seen one kilometer away. Lord Shiva and the goddess Durga maa.
